Click on the OK button and you will return to the Configure KMail dialog box.

Enter the POP3 or IMAP4 server name under Server Address.

Type in your email address in the field corresponding to “Log on user name”.

For adding Windows Exchange server to Windows Mail, all you have to do is to follow the instructions mentioned below.
Start off by opening Windows Mail. To do this, click on the Windows “Start” button, click on “All Programs” and select “Windows Mail”.

Click on the mail that you would like to edit and select the option labeled “Properties”.
Go to the tab titled “Server”.

Type in the incoming mail server address given to you by the administrator. The exchange incoming mail server will be in the format “exchange.companyserver.com”.
After that, provide your outgoing server address or SMTP information as given by the administrator. The outgoing server address might look similar to that of the incoming server address and will be in the format “smtp.companyserver.com”. The mail server address will be in accordance with the setup done by the administrator on the network’s side.
Now you need to mark the check box which says “My outgoing server requires authentication“, do this only on the recommendation of the administrator. This setting is actually configured on the server end which means that a portadding Windows Exchange server
authentication is required before mail is sent out.
Hit the “Next” button and you will be given the Exchange login screen.
Enter your Exchange username and password in the respective fields.
Mark the check box labeled “Remember Password” which will instruct your Windows Mail to store your Exchange login details. By doing so will spare you from the trouble of entering the information each and every time you check or send mail.
Finally hit the “Finish” button.
