Microsoft has now released three new exams after a series retirement actions. Candidates who wish to become Microsoft certified specialists can already take the OEM Manufacturing and Deployment Windows 10, Perform Big Data Engineering with Microsoft Cloud Services, and Analyzing and Visualizing Data using Microsoft Power BI exams. These exams are currently in beta. This means that if one of them passes, you will be awarded full credit towards the relevant certifications. However, you won’t receive a score report nor pass/fail notification for 8-12 weeks after the beta period ends.
The OEM Manufacturing and Deployment for Windows 10 exam (70-735) was published on June 19, 2017. It was created for OEM, ODM or IDH Windows image builders who are comfortable using the Windows Assessment and Deployment kit to deploy Windows 10. Candidates install or mount hardware using pre-installed Windows. They also create complete images that can be deployed to customer devices, such as laptops, desktops, and tablets.
The 70-735 exam tests individual’s ability install deployment tools and scripts and add customizations, drivers and language packs to the image. It also preinstalls Office 2016, creates restore packages, and validates the image.
Candidates should have at most one year experience in managing Windows deployment issues.
The MCP certification is also associated with the 70-735 exam.
The Perform Big Data Engineering on Microsoft Cloud Services (70-776) exam was published on July 5, 2017. It was designed for candidates who are skilled in designing and building operationalized solutions for Azure. These candidates will be able to use the Microsoft cloud ecosystem to design and implement big data analytics solutions that meet their project’s requirements.
The 70-776 exam tests the candidate’s ability design and implement.

Candidates must have relevant experience in data engineering issues using Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory.
The MCSA certification includes the 70-776 exam.
The Analyzing and Visualizing data with Microsoft Power BI (70-778) exam was published on July 31, 2017. It is intended for data analysts and BI professionals who need to have a solid understanding of Power BI to perform data analysis. Candidates must be able to connect to data sources, perform data transformations, configure dashboards using Power BI and implement direct connectivity to Microsoft SQL Azure (SSAS).
