Windows Os Keyboard
One of the best things these days is being able to do your computing from wherever you like, even when it is inside the house. You do not want heavy devices and wires rooting you to the spot, because mobility is what this age is all about.
Attachable wireless keyboards are getting big these days, with every major manufacturer bringing out their own take on what people need at the time. The common element is that these use Bluetooth to connect to the controlled computing device, which is why there are now wires to bother with.
That is the main reason you will love the foldable keyboard from Microsoft. They have designed this to work with Android and iOS devices, and it contains a foldable structure, as well as a few tweaks over previous editions. Called the Universal Foldable Keyboard, this is their officially improved take on the famous Universal Mobile Keyboard. The latter makes use of Bluetooth connectivity to link to Windows, Android, and iOS devices.
What companies are trying to come up with, are keyboards that are compatible with not only different devices running the same OS, but also with different platforms. Since there is a huge pool of users running Windows OS, Android, and iOS on their devices, what is needed is a commonly compatible input option, which works with every major OS setup. This is one of the topics that will never grow old on Windows Live support forums.
Windows Compatible Keyboard
The Foldable Keyboard, meanwhile has the same comprehensive connectivity, uses Bluetooth to link to the computing device, and can switch between devices when there is more than one being used at the time. The foldability, of course, makes this the crème de crème. When you open it up, its 11.61″ wide and 4.9″ tall, which is a bit larger than the older iteration. But fold it and you can size it down to less than the space the Mobile Keyboard takes up.
That one simply had a foldable cover for the keyboard, while this closes like a book. And the keys are water repellent too. You find discussions about the many things this will let you do, on Windows Live support forums online.
One thing this model does not have is a stand to fit the tablet device on to. The battery life is said to last at least three months on a single charge (via a micro-USB port), although this is less than the six months duration that boasted. The Universal Foldable Keyboard sells for $99.95, though this is high, considering the paltry battery backup.

Windows support number

Windows 10 is exactly what Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 are not. Microsoft is often observed with reiterating that Windows 10 is an entirely different operating system that didn”t share any commonalities with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. Leave a replySkype Chat Service
There was a time when Skype was big, and almost everyone flocked to it. But even before Microsoft acquired it, the chat service was rapidly being brought down by more popular competitions like WhatsApp. Skype was mostly used by home computer owners, and it was a popular option for people to stay in touch with friends and family, as well as with new friends they made online.
This has changed, and the majority of those using Skype are businesses. The one thing that makes it appealing is the free video conferencing provision. But Google”s Hangouts is offering the same thing, and this may spell disaster for the clunkier Skype.
Group support
Skype lets you add upto nine people at once while holding a video chat. This isn”t part of the free package however; in the SU, this costs a monthly 4.99 dollars for the subscription. For companies this is still a bargain, because the calls offered are unlimited, and there”s also group screen sharing. Another thing is that this gives you access to Live Chat assistance, similar in many ways to Windows Live chat support.
Google”s Hangouts allow for the same number, but with the added benefit that it”s available for free. If you”re simply looking to converse with a large number of people, then there”s Hangouts On Air, which can be streamed live on your YouTube channel or your blog.
Platform compatibility
Skype can be run on many devices which have XP or older OS, Mac OS X, or Ubuntu. It works with browsers like the Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Hangouts has pretty much the same compatibility range.
Calls
Skype Chat Charges
Skype lets you make free calls between clients, but calling a phone would require setting up a monthly subscription. This costs 2.99 dollars per month in the US and Canada, at a call rate of 2.3 cents per minute. The Unlimited World plan lets you make calls to 8 countries, to landline as well as mobile phones, at 13.99 dollars per month.
Google Hangouts lets you call other users free of charge, or make free calls inside the US and Canada using a Google Voice number. For landlines and mobiles, you”d be charged the local rates in the country you”re calling to.
Skype scores in regards to the Live Chat option, which is similar to the Windows Live chat support service. You may find more information on Skype call charges from the official website.

2 Replies About Windows Chat Services
Most Windows users have already made the switch from the old Windows chat service networks like MSN Messenger and Windows Live Messenger to Skype. Actually, they did not have any choice. Microsoft announced their plans for shutting down their old chat networks through the Windows live chat support websites and asked the users to make the transition to Skype.
MSN Messenger was available in China until October 31
The user accounts from all the other chat services were soon transferred to the Skype network. But, as always, Microsoft had a difficult time convincing the Chinese users to make the transition to their new service. Microsoft was well aware of the fact that these users could easily switch to a rival chat service platform.
Also, the fact remains that Windows XP is still the most widely used Microsoft operating system in China and the latest Skype versions will not run on Windows XP, which is no longer supported by Microsoft. So, without upgrading their operating systems, most of these users will not be able to switch to Skype. Here, we are talking about the majority of Windows OS users in the Chinese market.
In other countries, the situation is different. Windows 7 is the most widely used operating system in most other countries. And, so, Microsoft was able to stick to the initial deadline there and make a smooth transition from the old Microsoft chat networks to Skype. But, in China, Microsoft was forced to extend the deadline to October for fear of losing the customers to rival chat service platforms.
Contact Microsoft Support
In fact, MSN Messenger service continued to function in China for more than a year after it was officially shutdown in other countries. And, on October 31, Microsoft officially pulled the plug on MSN Messenger in China. But, these account holders will not lose any of their data or contacts.
Microsoft has transferred their data and the contacts to the Skype service as they did for their users in the other countries. In order to make sure that the users will not switch over to some other rival chat service, Microsoft has announced through their Windows live chat support desk that all MSN Messenger users will receive a free coupon worth two US dollars, when they make the transition to Skype. They can use this for making international calls.
Let us hope that this offer is enough to help Microsoft retain all their MSN Messenger users in China.

Leave a reply Windows Live Support
Nordic games Guerilla publishers have now come up with a beta version of Steamwork shooter support. The best part is that it is available for no charge for Games For Windows Live service from Microsoft. Moreover, Windows Live chat support is available in case you have issues playing the game. Get in touch with the Live chat services when there is an issue.
During a bankruptcy auction back in the year 2013 in the month of April, Red Faction IP was acquired from THQ by Nordic. Moreover, post the acquisition, now they have confirmed that they will be putting an end to Games For Windows Live from Red faction. Microsoft planned to put an end to the services in the month of July 2014, but then denied that the reports were incorrect in the month of June.
It is not necessary for the players to sign in with Games For Windows Live to play the beta version of Red Faction: Guerrilla. Users can take the advantage of multiplayer gameplay and matchmaking from Steamworks that can be used over a Steamwork network for leader boards, achievements and voice chats. When the game initially boots, the beta version will throw a prompt for the players to choose from a game that is existing in Games For Windows Live. After which an attempt will be made to migrate to the latest version.
Windows Chat Support
Instead of the running in DirectX 10, this will run efficiently on DirectX 6. According to the executive producer at Nordic, Reinhard Pollice, when the game runs on DirectX 10, there seems to be many issues and there is an issue with the performance of the game. Reinhard Pollice left a comment in the Steam community that DirectX 10 is not so good, but it is better to go for DirectX 9. According to him, DirectX 10 has nothing much to offer, hence DirectX 9 is a better option for Red Faction: Guerrilla.
When Nordic was asked about its plans about Games For Windows Live, they said that they could keep them in the public branch but then it will stay unsupported and depreciated. Moreover, only if Microsoft keeps the service running, will they be able add multiplayer servers to the Windows Live Games. Red Faction: Guerrilla was actually designed by Volition and then published in THQ in the year 2009 on Play Station 3, Xbox and Windows PC. Get to know more on these from the Windows Live chat support desk.

Leave a reply Windows Support
As you know very well by now, From Software aren”t the kind popular for lobbing out lifebelts, but it seems that has changed now. They are offering the best they can for the owners of “Dark Souls: Prepare to Die” edition. The game developers have recently made it really possible for gamers to move their copy of the game, including the saves and achievements, from Microsoft”s uncertain and infamous Games for Windows Live platform (GFWL) to the famous Steam platform. GFWL was never popular; the Windows live support forums are flooded with complaints concerning the gaming service.
This will happen very soon and GFWL users can be happy about the fact that they will be able to transfer various Dark Souls characters, progress and achievements to their current Steam accounts. The only disappointing thing can be that GFWL rankings will not be transferred. The specific migration dates and additional information on the migration and transfer will soon be shared with users.
Games for Windows Live players need to redeem GFWL tokens on Steam for getting the Dark Souls for free. The users will see a guide for locating keys, which is outlined on the support page. The players can use the tokens even after the migration period ends, but it may happen that the game save data and achievements transfers will not be possible; that”s a bummer.
In this Windows live support article, we would like to remind you that the announcement of the migration follows Bandai Namco”s promise in the month of May that it was looking into various other services in order to keep the Dark Souls game alive. This was a few months before the service was due to be shut down. You might be aware of the rumor that the GFWL service would stop on July 1, 2014. This announcement first came up on the Age of Empires Online blog many months ago.
Tech Support
Many developers and publishers then started offering migration options for their games. For instance, Batman: Arkham Origins, offered migration option from GFWL to different platforms. The Redmond based software maker had issued a statement a few months ago denying that it was shutting down the service and as the software company says, they are “committed to investing in PC gaming.”
The Dark Souls game initially launched on Windows powered PCs two years ago. What”s really not clear is that why Bandai Namco previously insisted that Dark Souls would remain “functional” on GFWL for the “foreseeable future”? What has really changed here, and why exactly, nobody knows.
Overall, it”s good news for Dark Souls” players. Enjoy the game in Steam.

Leave a replyWindows Online Support
The video game developing firm, Capcom, is modifying some of the best Windows PC games like Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record and Resident Evil 5. According to Windows live support, the games are being modified for the Valve”s Steamworks. The announcement was made in a blog post by Capcom Unity.
According to Capcom, the firm is moving the games to Steamworks platform due to the rising popularity of the platform. The company says that with this move, more fans from across the world will be able to play these games. The move is expected to happen by the beginning of next year.
Earlier this year, Capcom had moved the game Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition to Steamworks. It was well received all over the world. The latest release of the game, Ultra Street Fighter 4, which was launched on PC, was moved to Steamworks support. However, it is interesting to note that some of the Capcom published games like Lost Planet 2, Street Fighter X Tekken etc. are still based on Games for Windows Live technology.
Majority of the developers are moving their games from the Windows Live platform as the software giant has announced that it would be soon shutting down the Windows Live Marketplace for games. This means that the online gaming service could see an end any time soon. However, Microsoft has made it clear that it would still be providing support for these games.
Windows Gaming Services
A statement released by the company says, “Although customers are unable to purchase new games from the marketplace or receive title updates, they can continue to enjoy previously purchased content by downloading them through the Games for Windows Live client as usual.” The statement further reads, “We remain committed to investing in PC gaming in the years ahead, and look forward to sharing more in the future.”
Games for Windows Live were launched seven years back. With the service, Windows PCs can connect with Microsoft Live service. Each user will be provided a Gamertag and users will be able to play the games online, view the status of friends etc. Microsoft made the service available to third party developers right from the launch of the service.
However, with the new decision from Microsoft, we might soon see more developers moving out of the platform. For further information on this news, you may contact Windows Live Support and avail assistance.
